Amanda Hachey
Amanda has a Master's in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability from the Blekinge Institute of Technology in Karlskrona, Sweden and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick – Saint John. She has over 8 years’ experience in small business and community economic development. With economic development agencies in New Brunswick, she worked with small-to-medium sized enterprises in strategic business planning. Seeking a more global perspective and the passion to learn more about developing economies, Amanda worked in business development in Panama City, Panama. She then took the opportunity to work as a Co-operative Development Advisor with agriculture producer co-operatives in Da Nang, Vietnam to help improve their business planning capacities. Amanda believes in the co-operative business model as a catalyst for an environmentally and socially responsible economy. Her areas of expertise include: incorporation, bylaw development, board governance, business plan development, group facilitation, strategic planning, sustainability consulting and reporting.
