Join us - at the centre of North America, in the heart of the continent - for three days of learning, networking and celebration at the premier community economic development (CED) event in Canada!

The theme of this year's conference is Full Circle: Sharing a Vision for the 7th Generation. Our inspiration is an original law kept and maintained by generations of Aboriginal people: just as our actions will affect generations to come, we are living in a world that was shaped by those before us. Aboriginal elders remind us to think and decide in a way that is conscious of the seven generations of people that will be born in the future - ensuring that we respect our Mother Earth and her spirited beings.

Greetings Cooperators,

Attached you will find information on the upcoming CooperationWorks! training program on developing new worker cooperatives. The program will be presented via on-line webinar in four, two-hour sessions in July. We are utilizing the internet to bring you the most comprehensive training on starting new worker co-ops in the most affordable way we can. Tim Huet, attorney and founder of the Association of Arizmendi Cooperatives in California, will be the primary trainer. The program is designed for cooperative development practitioners, community development groups and people interested in starting their own worker co-op. Some scholarship support is available.

Please circulate this information to individuals and groups who may be able to utilize the training in their communities.

We're very excited about this opportunity to get the word out about the proven model of worker co-ops to a wider audience.

Best Regards,

Audrey
